Come Out on Sat Feb 04th from 11am to 3 pm EST for special “Blessing of Animals” Event

Please join us for a very special 2nd annual “For the Love of our Animals” Barn Open House to celebrate the beloved residents of Summerseat Farm.

Last year we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from our community. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide much needed food, supplies, medical care and treats for our residents.

This year we would like to invite the community to a special “Blessing of the Animals” with Father Drew Royals at 1:00 pm EST.  Let us know you are coming and LIKE OUR EVENT on Facebook here.

To thank you for your continued support, you are also welcome to bring your animals to the Blessing. All animals must be crated, leashed or trailered.

For the safety our of animals and the community, adults must handle ALL leashed animals. All animals must show proof of current rabies vaccination via rabies tag. We ask that owners clean up after their pets. There will be receptacles available for your waste bags.

THERE IS NO ADMISSION FOR THIS EVENT, however donations are greatly appreciated.

Needs include: Senior horse feed, dry and canned cat food, chicken food, pig food, rabbit food, laying mash, scrub brushes and salt blocks. Monetary donations are also appreciated as this covers veterinarian cost and other medical type needs for our animals.

For checks please make out to Summerseat Farm, 26655 Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659 (and on Memo line address to ANIMAL FUND). Gift cards would be great as well!   Tractor Supply, Southern States and Stauffer’s Feed Mill carry many supplies that we desperately need.

We will have coloring for the kids at the Pavilion and snacks!

We are extremely excited about this event as our residents are special to the farm and delight all who visit.
