                  Our Mission Statement

Summerseat Farm, Inc exists to establish and preserve the history, agriculture, and natural resources of Summerseat and to provide educational programs there that enhance the interrelationship among people, animals, and nature.


​How your membership supports this mission

Your membership provides for the basic day-to-day expenses such as food for the animals, barn supplies, house and grounds maintenance, fence and building repairs, plus the unexpected expenses associated with a farm. Run entirely by an active community of volunteers and all income is derived solely through memberships, fundraisers, and donations from individuals and local businesses.


As part of a working farm, Summerseat has also rescued neglected animals and taken in animals due to family hardships. This is not possible without your continued support.


Summerseat Farm, Inc is an IRS designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible.


Memberships start as little as $30 but if you don't want to sign up for one, please consider a one-time donation. Monthly donations or animal sponsorships are also available.


For your convenience, membership fees can be paid via PayPal or Venmo. You can also send a check to:

Membership fees are:              Individual  $30               Supporter:   $200

                                                     Family        $50               Lifetime Member: $1000



Meetings: Summerseat Board meetings are open to the public. We meet monthly in the Summerseat Manor House on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm. All are welcome to attend!
