Guidelines:
· All rental times include set-up and clean-up time and a 1 hour rehearsal the day before event. Hourly rates are charged for additional time (based on availability); extra time must be arranged for and paid for in advance, or will be taken from the security/damage deposit. It is requested that all nighttime events be completed by 11:00 p.m.
· Rental entitles Client to selected areas of the house and/or grounds and includes a Summerseat staff member on-site for duration of rental period.
· Maximum capacity for indoor functions is 50.
· Client is required to obtain their own caterer, catering services, and other auxiliary services such as florist, band, DJ, photographer, parking valet, Port-o-Potties and tents.
· Final Walk-Through with Client, caterer, etc. and a representative of Summerseat Farm, Inc. must be scheduled for a time at least one month prior to the event.
· The kitchen facility does not allow for cooking. The kitchen is for heating and warming only.
· Client and their caterers are expected to leave the facilities, both inside and outside, as they found them. This includes cleaning-up after your event, bagging your trash and taking your trash with you.
·
· Parking is in lower lot as indicated by the parking signs, plus limited handicapped parking on south side of house. Parking lot is not lighted.
· All open flame candles, lanterns, etc. must have hurricane globes or similar protection from wind.
· Smoking is not allowed in the manor house and only in designated area outside. Cigarette butt clean up is your responsibility.
· Professional caterers are required to provide a certificate of insurance prior to event.
· Should a Client cancel the event no later than 30 days prior to the event, all payments may be refunded except the Non-refundable Deposit. Within 30 days of the event and up until two weeks prior to the event, cancellation shall result in a forfeiture of 50% of the rental fee. If Client cancels the event within two weeks prior to the event, Client shall forfeit the entire fee, except for the Security Deposit.
